I'm going to use a VPS (DigitalOcean) Do you recommend using nginx?

What can you use for optimum performance?

I use it for my largest forum. It hasn't missed a beat! I'm using a Linode VPS, but Digital Ocean should be fine as well.

Yes, that's well known. Hence, why I use Linode. I was just saying Digital Ocean will work.

Been using digital ocean with nginx and centmin mod, and xenforo, but better solution (for me) was going one step more and now I am using UpCloud, ofcourse with centmin mod from @eva2000
Without him, you have to know nginx and all stuff very well
