Just updated to 4.0.6 and users are unable to see the button in thread list

For me they have been applied.

As @Mr Lucky says it could have something to do with permissions.
I as a moderator can see the ignore link, ordinary users cant.

That's right, mods with the permissions to use inline moderation and manage threads can see the ignore in thread list. But not users.

That's weird, it works for all the users and usergroups I have set permissions for. I assume you have set the permission and also the addon option?

Yes. Permissions are fine as user can ignore forums and threads from the button at the top but not longer via the buttons on each thread in the thread list.

It was all working until 4.0.6

On my test forum I uninstalled 4.0.6 Installed 4.0.5 and set up permissions and options . All fine

Install 4.0.6 and all working but without thread list or new list.

Test forum 4.0.5:





After updating to 4.0.6 same user, same permissions and options




Same issue with all other addons disabled and default style.

Yes. Users can ignore forums, thread but no longer via the thread list.

Ah. I see now. I can confirm there must be a bug. It works on my live style but not on the default XF or dormant styles. I "think" I must have manually added code to my templates (not sure what though, I sometimes lose track of all my edits )

I'm seeing the same behavior. Users reported it.

Admin account has "ignore" on each thread of the thread list,
my test account does not see that option.

Show ignore button in thread list is selected in settings

Is anyone using this add-on with Conversation Essentials?

If so, are there any known conflicts between the two? I saw this post in this discussion thread from 2022 about a potential conflict, but I've not seen anything else.

Edit: I took a gamble and bought it because it lets users personalise my forum. I've found no conflicts in my tests in the sense that it doesn't seem to stop Conversation Essentials from working. However, the ignore button does not seem to appear in conversations when Conversation Essentials is active. I don't mind this so long as it doesn't break the Conversation Essentials add-on.

Anyway, awesome add-on, thank you!

Anyone else getting this error when clicking the message count number in the member tooltip? This is with XF 2.3.9 and PHP 8.3. Might finally be forced to disable this add-on

See the image in the post. Clicking the message count number (to search for member messages) triggers that error. Does it happen for you?
