Yeah I get you don't want spam, none of us do... but if you've been within the community and are a fully paid up licence holder, don't put moderation restrictions on us.

Go to reply to one thread/post, great.. then move to the next = restricted.
I mean, come on. It's no longer 1997.
One of the reasons I stuck with XF and didn't move to IPB was their totally inward looking - "Anti-spam" measures where you can't post, make a comment, do anything without it being pre-moderated.

Anyway, I get you want to stop spam, but for those of us who have been here a long time, no need to moderate or kettle us... It's a bit sad old man syndrome.

I do find the spam restrictions on valid members annoying as well. There are plenty of times I need to sit and wait to preform an action on the site.

I understand that spam is an issue. So make a better anti spam solution and stop draconian measures against normal, genuine people on here. This is so petulant.

I know we have tongue in cheek banter (you and I ) but this is really, really treating adults as children.
Newbies, I get it. We hate spammers. All of us. They destroy our communities and poach, hit our sites and cause chaos.
Me? Six years I’ve been here. Six years. I still get “you must wait” when I’m trying to help people or post crud.
I’m 42 years of age. Been here almost a decade. You have Ozzy (phone changed it, I have edited this) You’ve been here years. Don’t queue our posts when some of us are helpers at times too. Whether they like us or not.

It’s so 1997 ffs.
