I've always found it a bit humorous when people (mostly Brits) refer to "US English" as a ******* dialect. Especially since most of those same people don't realize the American version is what Brits were using when they crossed the Atlantic. The current British dialects were heavily influenced by French and imitate the francophone upper class (e.g., addition of the extra U's, replacing z's with s', etc) -- and have undergone far more changes than any other English dialect.

Anyway, he does have a point about the abbreviations, which are madly inconsistent in PHP.
