If I Don't Renew Then Decide To Renew Later

This is not exactly a pre-sales question but I think it belongs here anyway.

I bought an XF license earlier this month. If I keep it for a year, then let the license expire, then decide to renew it anyway, do I just pay the extention fee or do I have to pay the full license fee again?
