XF 2.2 If ACP & usergroup options are removed between versions, any cleanup to do?

For something I'm working on I will be removing some ACP add-on options and user group permissions options from an existing add-on. There are no DB changes, just removing some options & permissions.

As part of the version update is there any cleanup in code I need to do for the removed items? I'm thinking that at a minimum the admin should do a permissions cleanup in the ACP Tools after installing the update but anything I should/could handle as an upgrade step in the installer code?



(The chosen prefix is 2.2 only because a prefix is required, the question is not related to a specific XF version....)

I'm breaking up one my add-ons that has grown a little unwieldy to be a couple of smaller feature-oriented add-ons and wanted to make sure I cleaned up properly as I went along.
