For the last couple weeks I've working on add-on called Forum Layouts. It's a direct implementation of IC5's fluid view and card view forum layouts, which I am personally a big fan of.
Fluid view allows live forum filtering with a hard positioned sidebar, and mobile menu. Card view allows expanded card format for forums with the latest X amount of threads. I've been testing it on my forum for about a week, but I need more comprehensive performance tests from forums (or dev site) with a much larger data set.
Heads, up this add-on does require Standard Library by Xon, and uses Redis Cache for better performance. (not a requirement). You can view it live on my personal site.
