Pay $10 for a local business licence / DBA called "Utah Fishkeepers". Open a PO BOX under Utah Fishkeepers. Transfer domain to business. Problem solved... for roughly $60/year.

*Don't know exact pricing for Utah.

I doubt a kid (under 18) could get a business license or a P.O. box.

You could use a formation agency to create a UK limited company. Not sure of the cost (I know it's quite cheap). You don't have to be British and you only have to be 16 to hold a directorship.

There is a lot of paperwork to sort out though. It can be a pain, and then there's corporation tax...

But it is a .us domain. The reason why there isn't whois privacy on .us domains is because it has to be owned by a person or a company in the usa.

I don't have my real address under the domain address. I have the address of the house my parents used to live in tat they rent out, but a stalker could still track down my real address.

@CarpCharacin you are doing it again, turning this into a circular discussion where the same thing is rehashed again and again over several pages. You raised your issue, you were told how things are and what the possible solutions are. That's it. You saying the same thing again isn't going to change things. .us domains have to have a name and address associated with them that is publicly shown. That's not going to change. Other members have given you some solutions. You either follow one of those or live with things as they currently stand.

I am just saying that there might be a problem with setting up a UK company.
No, your previous post was re-stating about stalking.

Anyway, you have been given possible solutions. Pick one (lose the .us domain; get a PO box; get a business license) which you are able to do or live with the address being public.

Actually if do you things you could be persecuted, prosecuted or stalked for, you should think about privacy before registering the domain or starting the service. The internet never forgets.

How would they know who to shoot at? The whois doesn't give them a description of what you look like.

On that note, do you really think someone is doing a whois search trying to find people to shoot? lol
Some 66 year old dude has been stalking me for 4 or 5 months.

This thread isn't specifically about him. I just don't want anyone being able to easily track down my info such as address.

I think your options have been made clear, as have the various recommendations for what actions you may want to take regarding the stalking -- here and in other threads. Like has happened in other threads, we're just going around in circles now.
