I Am Considering Buying XenForo. Some Questions...

I joined this site because of one feature, the pop-up window when switching styles.

Sounds corny but I'm addicted to styles. I have almost 30 installed on my own site.

That's the reason I joined. I wanted to see larger screenshots of the styles people have posted.

It won't let me view. How come?

Another reason I joined is that I need the ability to customize RSS feeds. vb4's options are limited.

I also wanted to customize my blog section more. Does XenForo have blogs?

I want to give members the ability to customize the background of their own blogs.

I have asked for help and received none. Not even in the Paid section of vb.org

Does XenForo have a Content Management System like vb4 as well? What about a Photo Gallery?

Does it have an Arcade modification? Casino???

Update: My vbulletin site was hacked by Team Poison. I do have back-ups but I have to wonder, is it worth reinstalling everything? I've seen a vb4 importer. I'd like to keep my old threads so that sounds like a great idea, importing them over to XenForo.

What's the security like? About the same as it is on vbulletin?

I want to install a rating site since XenForo doesn't have an album rating script modification.

I asked the designers just now if they are able to make a single-sign on with XenForo.

If you made a backup on your VB4, imported xenForo and not reinstall everything.

I think what I'll do is keep my vbulletin4 forum and just create a new XenForo forum.

Hmmm. I'd prefer it to have openid because I am opening up a rating site that has openid.

Problem is, XenForo doesn't have OpenID. phpBB forums do though, so does Vanillaforums.

Most styles have links to their live site for you to take a look. You can also look around the forum showcase. There's not a whole lot of styles yet but there are already some super nice ones.

Is Xenporta more convenient than your wordpress or do you still absoletly need the wordpress? I think I might use XenPorta for the new site I want to make instead of creating a separate wordpress and combining it with XenForo. Decisions, decisions...

XenPorta is really nice and easy to use. It can pull posts from the forum/subforum of your choice and show them nicely on your first page. It can even change those threads' layout to an alternate, more bloggy style too with only a click of a button.

It doesn't do anything more than that tho. So it depends if you're only posting stuff to your forum or not.

That's not entirely correct, we should give them kudos when they deserve it. Two weeks ago when I was going to sell my three vB licenses, the vBulletin sales team responded within the hour.
Well I'm glad your having an awesome experience. I've made inquiries over there that either have zero replies or replies several days later. I get a piece of the awesome experience your getting about 1/2 the time.

Cool... Can you select chosen threads from the forums in a list to be shown as a sidebar on the home page? That's easy enough to do in wordpress. Is that also in XenPorta?
