Not a bug Hyperlinks as text always convert to clickable links ?

Hi I can't make hyperlinks remain as text only. When i edit and click the break link icon, it unlinks, then after saving the thread the clickable link has come back. The reason is that some links are for reference and some are tracking links. The reference links i want to have as plain text.
For example.

I can't unlink the above, to remain as plain text without taking away the protocol

I think the best bet is to use the plain bbcode:
