XF 2.2 how to stop on going past watched emails from members

After upgrading 1.5 to 2.2. i noticed some members still get "New thread in watched forum" type emails.
I removed the option by email with 3rd party add on. I wonder is there any way sql query or way to stop all on going "watched thread or forum" type emails for members or member group?

I had this same question a few months ago. Thankfully, it is possible in the ACP.

Find user in the ACP. In the top right corner of the screen, there is a drop down menu button that says "Actions". Last item in the drop down menu is "Manage watched threads". Click and select "disable emails"

I'm not sure if it's possible to batch process a group of members, but this works for individual members.
