How to Set Up With Bluehost

I have a domain and hosting with Bluehost and wanted to have a Xenforo forum. I would like for it to be the whole website not a plugin or anything. What do I have to do?

1. See if BlueHost passes the xenForo requirements by uploading this ZIP.
2. Purchase an XF license.
3. Install xenForo yourself or pay for the installation service by XF ($50)

Go to your customer area here: https://xenforo.com/customers/

Once there, click on "Purchase extras & services" under your license. From there you'd want to purchase "Installation Service".

Where do I put the test script? They are saying I need a VPS server not shared. I wish I knew more about this kind of stuff.

You don't need a VPS. Shared hosting is fine, and probably recommended for a site just starting out.
If they are telling you that you need a VPS, you may want to look for another hosting provider as it sounds like they are trying to upsell you.
Another option is the cloud offering available from XenForo.

As for where to put it. In the root of the location of the shared hosting provider (usually /www or /html or similar).
