How To send new password to all users

Here is my problem, I imported from SMF to VB3 and then VB3 to xenforo. During this process all my members are unable to use their original password. Is there away to send each member a email reseting their password?

You could send a mass email from /admin.php?users/email explaining that all passwords have been reset, and then direct them with a link to /lost-password/

Thanks for that!! Is there a way to limit how many emails to send at once? My server does not like when i send out a bunch of emails at one time

Honestly I haven't even tried using the feature yet, LOL. I'm running it on a brand new site.

I imagine there's some kind of limiter built in like there was for vB.

If your mail server has a quota then I recommend using the Only generate a list of email addresses checkbox. Then you can take those emails and break them up into smaller batches. Use your own mail client to send each batch every hour, or whatever time interval satisfies the quota of the mail server.
