Other than the field length being limited in code, there is nothing built in to limit specific characters.

This whole xenforo addon thing seems like a massive racket. Really leaves a bad taste in your mouth when you start using their software.

This guy asks a question about a super simple request and the addon cartel is there to try and make you pay 35 dollars.

I really like the addons that XF inspire & @AndyB s racket of hundreds of add-ons are very much worth the $35.
Better start learning how to extensively code (and by the looks of your three prior posts you need to) because to customize XF, you're going to need help.

Basic functionality like setting a character limit should be within the stock software's capability and should not be something you have to buy an addon for $35 dollars on a yearly subscription for in my opinion. I know I am in the Xenforo fan forum and am going to get blasted but you don't see this with other forum software.
