How to import a header/banner without a whole style and can I migrate from phpBB 3

As a retiree on a VERY fixed income this package it expensive. Add to that the media gallery, I can't justify buying an entire style, when I know there must be a way to upload a banner. The banner is very important to my partner. If he can't have his banner he'll make me move on to another option.

Although I have CRS, I thought I saw somewhere that I can migrate from phpbb but I don't see that app listed among the others within the ACP.

Oh, and how does this platform handle SEO?

You won't find that in the ACP, you have to download the importer script from your account when you buy the software.

If I remember correctly to center you need to edit the template and wrap the variable in a center tag.

I'll be patient:) Old and getting a little dotty in the brain, so the more details, the better. But it looks like it should be easy to set the logo up!

I gotta say, I'm impressed with the level of support here. I was running phpBB and having a problem with listing members, the team, can't contact the team... Asked for help and I was told to share my .htaccess file! THREE people were on that hill. You have this wrong, that wrong... I restored the original when redirecting stopped working and I then started looking for alternatives.

Asked Google: Best free forum software, best free CMS software, best paid software... I actually looked at the forums to see how long it took a response to take place after a question was asked and read the responses to see if some jerks just wanted to hose up a board. I saw, I thought it was way too expensive for someone that's been retired for 18 years, the wife said go for it , I did and so far so good!

I hope the support stays this good. At my age and mental capacity, I need all the help I can get and I'll have a LOT of stupid questions!

Yep, I missed that also since I am on my phone. I found the code to center the logo so when you create an thread in the appropriate forum I'll post it... ;)
It's only four small lines of code that needs to added to a template that XF provides.
