XF 1.3 How to get sub forum list in a box

I want to know how it is possible to get the subforums list, if they are chosen to display on the main page, to appear in a box with the appropriate background matching the style colors.

as in this picture here!!




Sorry I took the picture from somewhere else on the site but I want to achieve the same result
where the subforums list takes the same style as the latest post with the border and the background.

I just thought it would look nicer if i can apply the style's border and shade to the sub-forums list on the home page.

Try using .node .subForumList in EXTRA.css.

but I'm really not much of a css expert.
I did put .node .subForumList in EXTRA.css and nothing changed

I meant use that to apply your styling.
For example:

.node .subForumList
{
border: 1px solid red;
}
