XF 2.0 How to get MySQL connected to Xenforo + HTTPS

I am using GoDaddy as my cPanel and MySQL. I've uploaded the Xenforo files to an new directory
named 'forum' and created an MySQL database named 'forum365' in MySQL.
I've read through files and even did the config.php.default thing with the MYSQL name, pass, localhost:3306, ect.
yet still nothing loads on the MySQL, nor am I able to load the page where I get the Xenforo installed.

I need guidance on how to change it from HTTP to HTTPS as well.

p.s. I've read over the Xenforo 2 install manual yet that doesn't help in regards to the MySQL connection.

Did you also create a database user, then add the user to the database with full permissions?

Once that is done, navigate to domain.com/forum/install and it should start the install script automatically.
