How to find add-on developers

Is there an official list somewhere of trustworthy, paid add-on developers? I'm hesitant to invest in the software if it won't be able to do a few special things that I need it to do. Have gotten a few quotes but it is hard to know who to trust.

If you go to the Resources manager you can see a list of all developers who have uploaded their paid or free add ons. If you see one that catches your eye you can check their work and see what their customers have to say about them and go with your instinct.
