How to disable external RSS Feeds?

    There is no way to do that without an add-on or possibly editing the server files.

    A few people have removed the rss icon but of course it doesn't disable the feed.

    I should just add that the RSS feed is governed by the respective node permissions, so only those who have permission to view the node can receive it.

    it would be great to limit rss to a whitelist (ie twitterfeed-like services) rather than opening the entire board to harvesters for no good reason.
    i suppose this could be done using htaccess...
