How to Deal with Threads That Violate Google Adsense's Terms and Conditions

How can we remove the Google ads from private conversations?

We can't even enforce their stupid censorship rules in private conversations that we can't even see. I know there are add-ons to let us view them but we simply don't want to have to resort to that.

Here is a video by AdSense which explains, in great stuttering detail, their policies on what's unacceptable.

For the life of me, I can't possibly understand how a photo of a person pouring a bottle of water on to their head is considered "sexual" in nature.

Who are these people? Did they recruit their censors from a convent?
After watching this video, I cleaned up my site and now I have google adsense working again. I had no idea google was this strict because I've been on sites that had not work safe content and they still had ads running, but now I'm noticing that those sites no longer have google adsense.

Does Adsense use robots or humans to scan sites for what they consider inappropriate content?

I've received a few of the mail, including one for not have a privacy policy.

Has anyone here actually had their Adsense account closed by Google?

@DRE , what type of content did you remove?
If a thread has a thread title that doesn't seem "family safe", you need to make sure google don't see it. This even includes threads that even talk about how to bootleg or about sites with copyright infringement material etc.

These use a combination of both. There are keywords their robots scan for and then a human reviews the stuff that was flagged.

a solution maybe a custom thread field for admins "Flag as unsuitable" and then add a conditional on adsense to not show on unsuitable threads. Could even have it default to Unsuitable on specific nodes.

Adsense complain with images in avatars too, but as usual did not gave me specific infos. Do you now how to list users with normal size avatar so I can browse them? in the ACP user list avatars are really small.
