XF 1.4 How to create "tabs"?

Okay, so xenForo.com has links to "Buy XenForo" to another page, and not natively on xenForo. How do I set up tabs to link to another page.

I am starting up a business forum for business startups, and I want to have a tab to link to a wordpress blog.

You can create a link forum that's hidden on the forum list and then use @Jake Bunce's Nodes as Tabs add-on to make it a navigation bar tab.

And I can hide the link forum from forum view, and allow the link to show up in link navigation (tab/breadcrumb)?

If it's just a single tab to a new URL I would edit the navigation template.

An add-on is overkill for that.
