XF 1.5 How to add an icon/button for custom bb code in the editor

I created a custom BB code and want to add a new icon/button for it in the editor. Did a few searches but found nothing relevant. Is there a tut for this and does it require coding experience?

Click on the [Advanced Options] tab and enter the icon/sprite details as required.

Yes I was kinda stuck there, so if I understand correctly I first need to add the new icon to icons.png. in photoshop, but then how does position work. It's not completely clear from that point on (first time I use sprites).

If you're not familiar with working with sprites, you can just use a single image and don't enable Sprite Mode.

Otherwise the two fields are the x (left) and y (top) coordinates of the specific image within the sprite.
