How do you restrict a specific usergroup from seeing threads but not forums?

I've been tinkering around with this and don't see this option. I see where you can restrict groups from seeing nodes, but not specifically threads in nodes.

There is no separate permission for that right now. You may want to suggest it:

Thanks Jake, this is as I figured. Of course it is only beta so there is plenty of time for this to be added.
