Not sure if this is a Support or Pre-Sales issue ...
Q: How do the Googlebots know I've edited a Post ? (so they can re-index the new page) ?
Q: Would there be any problems with editing the First Post of a thread alot ?

I am usually referring to a first post.

    Sorry, thats wrong.

Goggle save and compared the checksums of any pages.
If a checksum changes then the content was re-index.

The crawl rate is determined by Google, unless you override it in the Webmaster Tools settings.

The next time it is crawled, Google's content will be updated.

Anyone know if the Google bots distinguish between:
    - a new post
    - an edited post

If you generate a sitemap, it should also know as Google tends to pick those up quite often from my understanding.
