XF 1.5 How do I rid off ******* addon restore Xenforo Installation?

The very first time I run into the problems with Xenforo was after installing ******* plugin: *******'s panel page was just blank (white page). I provided access to ******* and somehow they sorted this out and I was able to set ******* Advanced Rules. Every other update of existing addons (even Xenforo Media Gallery) or installing new addon led to white pages. I reported ******* about these problems and they reverted this issue doesn't concerns them, they told I should refer to server logs which was empty!!!

I was advised that some addon interferes with recompilation of Admin templates and the only addon which interferes with Admin templates recompilation is *******. Ok. I'm get used to refreshing Admin templates manually each time new addon is installed/upgrading existing addons. Last time I was not able to install new languages and nobita plugin. I decided to uninstall ******* plugin (paid) and problems still remain (recompilation of Admin templates and adding new languages). I'm sure ******* is struggling for preventing their plugins being stolen, but they do this nevertheless of corruption of xenforo installation.

Now I have to find a technical specialist who will get rid of ******* infection and I don't really know how much it will cost to me (nobody knows).

Back to the sheeps, think 5 times prior installing ******* addons.

Because he is banned and the name is not allowed here. I would try and contact them. However someone here can likely help you with access. This sort of issue is what started the whole downhill thing with them.

How much such assistance could cost (to restore my Xenforo Installation)? There no sense to deal with *******, their policy is inserting tracks into Xenforo installation. No deal with them any more.

A new license won't make any difference.

You could do a fresh installation with the license you already have but I'm fairly sure it'd be possible to recover from this withoutnneeding to start from scratch.

Someone will likely be along to help in more detail.

Thank you. I know how to overcome problem with blank page:

1. Switch Development mode on
2. Go to Admin Templates
3. Find Admin templates corresponding with new addon
4. add space in any place and save. This will force template to be recompilated
5. Do these with each new/upgraded template.

The problem is this author (not allowed to be mentioned here) produce addons acting as a virus. I wish I knew about this ....k! And it would be great if Xenforo issue a tool that could completely remove such kind of addons.

Have you tried doing a complete rebuild?

Go to <your domain>/install and click the Rebuild Master Data button.

It won't erase any forum data.

Thnks Liam, I do upgrades on regular basis. The matter is when addons of this author are removed they aren't removed completely.

I did not tell you to do an upgrade I told you how to rebuild data.

You specified that templates hadn't been compiled. Rebuilding master data will rebuild all templates.

Why not Ozzy? Outside of the database tables which can be left or often identified for manual removal. Everything else can be programatically found. All of the phrases, listeners, templates, etc are all identified to the addon. That is how the basic uninstall routine works. The only thing left is the files. Most of which can be found by code already written by Chris D but there will be plenty of left overs for some addons. You might find them easily, maybe not if they developer was a slob.

Sure things should be easily found, but we are not talking about Brogan, Xon, Snog etc, we are talking about *******. If things were properly coded by them, and did not do underhanded things, this thread would not even have been needed. ;)
