How do I remove gradients?

I see gradients everywhere, and it doesn't match the style I'm working on, how do I remove them?

perhaps not in the strictest sense. but requiring people to hunt high and low through the style editor only to resort to using firebug to track down css to then track down in a css template is pretty familiar to what we experience with 'stylevars'.
imo xf should stay well away of that.

Editing CSS files is not "hard-coded".
