XF 2.2 How do I know a conversation has been read?

If there is no reply to a conversation I have started with another user, is there a way to tell if the conversation has been read?

The timestamp is in the database but it's not exposed.

It would require a third party add-on, if one exists, otherwise custom development.

I use Ozzys Addon - near by perfekt. Only the Icons are look like out of 1990s To big and not optical like a XF icon.
But they are changeable.

Its great and should be a core function.

Agree. Ozzy's addon does the job. The size of the checkmark is subjective. For this old dude, it is about the right size...easy to see, no glasses required.
