I just bought XenForo and Im wondering how to install it to my website.

but if you are completely new to installing php/mysql based apps, it might be a good idea to seek paid installation support from an outside party. xenforo itself offers it. there are some other folks here who offers it.

Okay thanks, Im not so great with PHP or MySQL so I will try to work on uploading it myself since I'm on a tight budget.
You will need hosting and a domain, in addition to the XF license.
If you have cPanel, you can use that to create the MySQL database and user, and grant the user full access.
Then open the File Manager app in cPanel, upload the XF zip archive, extract the files, move them to the directory, usually public_html, navigate to site.com/install, enter the MySQL details and the installation script will run.

Though I suppose first step would be to ensure that your hosting has the necessary updated versions to support xenforo! This script would tell you just that.

I made sure with my domain/website hosting support that everything matched xenforo
