XF 2.1 How can I make smilies always visible?

How can I make at least the Recently used Smilies always visible when writing a post? Because when I click on the Smilies icon, it is loading too slowly the window with the smilies. Something like this:



Please let me know.

By the way, @xffutureuser did you find a solution for this that works with XenForo 2.1? We'd like to have our custom smilies visible below the editor as shown in your image.

I am going to make an add-on like that. Should be ready maybe within 2-3 weeks.

We're also looking for a way to change the number of smilies in each row in the dropdown.

I used to use this addon as my members also prefer having a default open list of smilies at the bottom of the message box, but I see it has now disappeared. Is there anything similar to this?
