Bukkit are using a popular plugin called XenPorta for their homepage. I'm also using it on my forum

I switched from XenPorta to Extra Portal, which is another cleaner and better supported option available. https://xenforo.com/community/resources/extra-portal.2321/

OK, my friend just bought a license, I asked if I could take a look at some add-ons for him. I tried XenPorta and it worked well, the only problem was that I could not place the recent news directly in the middle? How would I do this?

With the Extra Portal, there is nothing to feature that thread, there is an options page in the AdminCP but apparently there should be an option when you create a thread, and there is nothing...

I would ask in the XenPorta forum but I'm not allowed cos I don't have a license and my friend doesn't care about it.

If your friend requires support, they will need to post in the appropriate customer forum/thread.
