Maybe someone can answer this for me

Home - Forums - Members - New Tab

The new Tab leads to a nod with the down arrow going to the child forums.

When I click any of the tabs they turn white and the tab shows selected.
Of course when I click the New Tab it is technically part of the forum so it highlights and shows the Forum Tab selected instead of the new tab.

I probably answered my question and realize this is normal behavior but was wondering if anyone has found a work around?

So if I undestand correctly, you want to keep the "What's new" selected?

That one is very nice and I may use it but I want my self made tab to do similar

So my NEW TAB which could be anything, in my case it is a link to a forum category with the down arrow going to the child forums.

In node settings you can set required navigation element for marking as "current":

I'm really getting the feel of things now and am impressed with all the functions.
