Hello everyone,

I'm looking to hire a reliable and trustworthy moderator for XHyperSpace.com.

(you must be fluent in English)

Unfortunately, we've been getting users who post inappropriate threads, and I need someone to actively monitor the forum and remove content that violates our rules.

The responsibilities include:

  • Reviewing and deleting inappropriate threads and posts.
  • Approving new user registrations when account approval is required.
  • Helping keep the community friendly, organized, and spam-free.
  • Reporting any major issues directly to me.
Pay: $50 USD per month.

This is a long-term position, and if the forum continues to grow, there may be opportunities for additional responsibilities in the future.

Before I grant moderator permissions, I'd like to have a short voice call with you on Discord so we can get to know each other and make sure we're a good fit.

If you're interested, please reply below or send me a private message with:

  • Any previous moderation experience (if any).
  • Your Discord username.
  • Your general availability and time zone.
Thank you! I look forward to finding someone who can help keep XHyperSpace.com a safe and welcoming community.

Hmm, sounds a bit weird, given that your forum seems to have just 100 members and 27 posts in total...

With this amount of posts gained in the 8,5 months since the forum opened in November 2025 I'd assume it should be not much of an issue to care for the moderation yourself as the forum owner if you have any interest in the forum you created. Yet some of these posts are obviously spam but have not been removed for (in this case) roughly a month and are even ranked in "the best of the best":

In general I'd assume for 50$/month you would not get a moderator, let alone one who knows what he is doing. But with the very low amount of posts it is basically more work to check if there are new posts than to moderate them and I wonder, why you are not simply doing the moderation tasks yourself (or have not been doing so until now)? The more with a new forum (that you must have founded for some reason) and as, given the forum topic, I'd assume that some postings could potentially be really weird and one would need a moderator that is into these topics and willing to deal with them as a moderator (which probably won't be too many people).

Honestly, this looks more like a self-promotion attempt for your forum than like an actual job offering.

Hi, you might want to look in resources for some user moderation add-ons, I've run large forums for nineteen years and never used a moderator.
All the moderating is done by me or the members and it works very well. Buy this and you'll probably find it's all you need.

Meanwhile, here is a good moderating tip for nothing....

Delete all posts where the poster begins with "Hmm" because those posts rarely add anything or answer the question (y)

hey thanks so much , ill look into this. a moderator is the ideal solution in my case though.

50 dollar a month to monitor actively. Damn. Might as well use that to spend on api credits and get an ai to moderate it for you with strict rules. Or get a gamer kiddo to do it.

you should be promoting the users who are attracted to your website and participate in discussions, keeping it alive. You shouldn't have to outsource at an early stage.
