XF 1.5 Hide Avatars

In preferences members have the ability to "Show people's signatures with their messages". This is great, however we'd like to give members the option to hide Avatars too. Is this possible?

There is no built in option for that.

It would be possible with a custom user group and template edits - or a dedicated style with avatars removed.

Thanks I'll have a play. What a pain to have to maintain another style though just for that. It's difficult to find forum software that does not let users decide to switch them off.
