XF 1 Help fixing email issues.

Ever since moving to Digital Ocean my transactional emails don't send.

Ports are open but I must be doing something wrong.

Need someone experienced with Xenforo and Digital Ocean to walk me through it.

Paid work.

I don't have an answer. But I had to switch to SES when I moved to DO. I was facing similar issues and moving to SES turned out to be an easy solution. I hope you find someone who can provide a solution.

Yes, most VPS providers are probably blocked by the major email services - because they are frequently used by spammers.

Don't try and send emails directly from your VPS, your deliverability will be terrible.

Use a 3rd party ESP (SES, SparkPost, Sendgrid, etc).

Personally, I use SparkPost.
