Having one sub-forums threads ordered reddit style

I would like to have one of the sub-forum threads ordered not by recent posts time but by upvotes or likes.
So, the ones that are most preferred by the users get on top, irrelevant of when was the latest post.
It doesn't have to be upvotes exactly, but I guess likes of the OP will do as well, or some other ratings.

Quick glance at the resource section and I don't see anything that could do that or I'm missing something?

For what it's worth, I'm looking for similar functionality (the ability to set a single forum to up-/down-vote style).

Me too. I've got one forum ordered by most views - that's the nearest that's currently possible until someone develops an addon for this.
