Gotta say, I think its one of the best thriller series i've seen in a long time, and Mads Mikkelsen plays the part of lecter so well. Its a very sinister storyline, which, whilst kept simple for people who like the 1 episode 1 story style arcs, the actual underpinnings, if you enjoy the psycological aspects make for a great watch.

Id suggest anyone to give to give it a go, though, jumping in mid-season probably won't help.

first episode was phenomenal but the last few episodes were boring. too much psychology, progresses too slow. I share your thoughts about lechter, mikkelsen delivers a killer performance.

First episode will always be great of any series, it is the impact of the first episode networks gauge their audience on. Make or break!

Planned mini series are always better because they make each episode makes an impact.
