So, tomorow it gets opened, live to the world.

Lets make a competition out of it.

If someone can accurately* guess whats in there, i'll send you a box of chocolates or a bottle of your favorite tipple or something similar... maybe a XenForo license if your realy spot on!

*Accurate would be, "documents talking about the economy and a pen" opposed to "documents and a pen"

Good Luck!

Hm, I thought this topic would be about that game that would have "something amazing" inside it if you unlocked it, and you could get a DLC item for $50.000...

Oh well, interesting.

Historical items of the era such as clothes perhaps along with deeds to something still of value 100 years later such as land or something

And perhaps valuables such as jewellery, diamonds, gold, etc.

Probably covering too many bases here :P

Too vague. "A scarf" or "some socks" rather than "clothing"... "a bracelet" or "a watch" rather than "jewellery"

A written book talking about that time period and of the future (maybe a little bit of the past too)

Pretty cool stuff,

Letters from people addressed to future us
Letters from children of that generation addressed to those of ours.
Newspaper clippings from the local Kringen newspaper on that that day
Perhaps royal documents or a letter/photograph involving King Haakon, who visited that day.
Perhaps a book from the Narvesen book sellers or a diary written by Johan.
Some documents or memorabilia relating to August 1612, that the date the package was sealed is on the 300 year anniversary of the battle in Kringen.
Perhaps some 300 year old Scottish memorabilia.
Documents or photographs relating to the handing over or unveiling of the monument to the local authorities of Sel or photographs of Prime Minister Bratlie, District Administrator Lambrechts, Members of Parliament Thallaug, Skoug and Castberg.
Documents, photos or signed memorabilia from Kristen Holbø - the sculptor who created the new Monument in 1912 or Colonel Angell who gave the speech on that day from the royal platform. Or perhaps the mayor or treasurer of the town.

Either that, or a very well wrapped pea.
