    Hello,

I am trying to add my XF site to google webmaster tools and it's asking me to add a metatag it has provided to my header.

Do I add that to a physical file or to a template some where? I have looked at the header template but don't know if it's correct to put it there.

    Any help greatly appreciated :)

When I set mine up, I had to put a file in my public_html directory, visit it, and verify it. And yeah, they do give you the option to add the code. Up to you what you do.

You would add it in a template, but uploading the file is really the way to go then you don't have to worry about losing the template edits.
