XF 1.5 Google Chrome error

We encounter an error when we try to edit a post and click on more options:


Here is the error:

Seems to be specific to Google Chrome. It doesn't happen for Firefox.

Open the developer console(press f12) then click on console tab then hit the more option button. Copy and paste the error messages in your next reply so everyone knows exact problem.

@KevRog which version of XF you running? This should’ve been fixed back in 1.5.14

Thanks, @jeb35 but there is no error message on the console after I click on More Options when editing a post. I disabled the XSS Auditor on Chrome and it worked but that might be good, security-wise.

Thanks for the direction @Optic, we might go that route. Would our Add-ons and Style templates still work with the new version? We're using 1.5.10

Hi @KevRog if you're going to update you may as well go all the way to the latest XF 1.5.21

Add-ons should be fine, but if you're using a 3rd party theme you'll definitely need to update your styles from the author (most authors will update their styles shortly after XenForo releases a new version)

There were some pretty major front-end changes recently to the front-end templates relating to GDPR / cookie notices / privacy policy.
