Hello all!
In the last ~7 - 14 days, I see a surge on the daily visitors via google analytics and xF2 online-users (which was not from bots but from real users).
I see that those guests were viewing some specific threads of my forum.

Then someone reported me that he detected some of my forum threads on his phone / android google news discover.

My question:
1. How did it happen? I mean what was the criteria for it? I didn't do sth but in the last months, since my forum has specific topic, we had an increase on the visitors like every year's same period.
2. What could I do to keep my forum in google discover? Are there specific rules by google to keep a site on that "list"? How easy could be to lost that benefit?

PS: I do not want to mention my forum's url. Just the above questions and tips for me and everyone.

You cannot control Google's Discover feature in any way. It's a system that depends on users' interests and their searches and what Google thinks they might be interested in.

If an influx of new users comes from Google Discover, it is to be considered, Google's words, as complementary traffic.

Unfortunately, more than posting content on Google you cannot do to reach Discover's audience.
