Good Dedicated Server Host

Hello,

I'm currently looking for a Dedicated Server host, unmanaged is fine.

http://servercomplete.com/ was suggested to us but their plans are out of stock.

Budget wise <=$150

I was really impressed with ServerComplete's Nehalem package. Anything near that would be awesome.

The server will be running game servers.

Edit: Preferably US based

I have no idea.
How fast does my site load for you?

Try pinging it from your PC.
This is what I get:
Code:
Pinging www.cliptheapex.com [95.154.254.10] with 32 bytes of data:
Reply from 95.154.254.10: bytes=32 time=20ms TTL=57
Reply from 95.154.254.10: bytes=32 time=21ms TTL=57
Reply from 95.154.254.10: bytes=32 time=20ms TTL=57

Ping statistics for 95.154.254.10:
    Packets: Sent = 4, Received = 4, Lost = 0 (0% loss),
Approximate round trip times in milli-seconds:

Most if that is due to the external services such as Facebook, Twitter, Google+ and Google Apps.
Pinging will give you a better idea, or checking the waterfall.

I tend to try to stay to the US for US based game servers, I feel like while lag may be acceptable for a site, for servers it may just cause issues. Thank you for the recommendation anyway.

It makes sense to host in the country from which the majority of your members will be accessing the site.

Keep checking with ServerComplete. They frequently get more in and offer them for a short period. I'm still waiting to catch another L5639 available to grab (will migrate one of my 5520's over to it and then install CloudLinux on the 5520).

That's pretty quick @Brogan
Can you ping my server (192.99.1.216) on your location?

How are the times for US based individuals? These are for game servers, so I'm a bit concerned about lag/ping.
You most definitely don't want lag if this is for a gameserver. You simply need to use multiple servers for multiple locations. A 2 second lag is nothing for a site; it will ruin a gameserver.

We already have a UK/EU based server, we're just looking to convert a few of our US servers from running through hosts to one dedicated box, however, I'm having difficulty finding a decent unmanaged host. Some I do find, seem to be asking an awful lot of money for resources I could get much cheaper from a managed host.
