Gmail confirmation issues

Hi all,

I've been having some ongoing problems with some (and only some) Gmail users. I have a tonne that have signed up without any issues, however there is a handful that are claiming that they have not received the confirmation email from my site. They swear black and blue that the email is not in their Spam folder.

I have tried everything in this thread, and this thread. I have asked my web host to increase maximum emails sent per hour to 1500 (this should be plenty for my currently small forum).

The only way to confirm delivery is to obtain the mail logs from your host. But this is likely to be a problem on the receiving end such as a spam filter. It might not even show in the spam box.

You know outgoing emails are working because most users are receiving them. If some users are having problems then you can manually activate their accounts or they can enter a different email address.
