Getting Option Problem

Option:

<option option_id="RandomOption" edit_format="spinbox" data_type="integer" can_backup="1">
      <default_value>0</default_value>
      <edit_format_params>min=0</edit_format_params>
      <sub_options></sub_options>
      <relation group_id="RandomOption" display_order="20"/>
    </option>

Dump:

{xen:helper dump, {$xenOptions.RandomOption}}

Template:

<xen:if is="{$xenOptions.RandomOption} != '0'">
    Hello.
</xen:if>

The problem:
When I dump the option I get "NULL". Why is that?

I've just tried it exactly as you are doing it, and I'm getting with 0

string(1) "0"

and with 1

string(1) "1"
