Nice addon. Works well. @AndyB , was wondering if a post as a designated user could be added in the options? Right now I login as my AI bot user before using the Gemini function then switch back.
 
It would be great if the administrator could configure a prompt indicating the writing style with which the answers should be generated (e.g. answer this question with a neutral tone and do not exceed 100 words)

I like this one as you can control the reply to be only when needed.
Still wishing a default reply user name could be selected. Switching accounts is a pain in the @@@.

As I understand the way this works: I type a message (which is a prompt for Gemini?).

As somebody who runs a role play website, I can see some advantages for integrating AI into my forum, but like I'd need to control the response to be "in character" (which I'm sure could be accomplished), but I think for this type of feature, the prompt would need to be "rolled up" or hidden within the parent message to the reply that Gemini is responding with?
 
Yes, the reply is from the message replied to or quoted.
As for what you described as "in character" your going to have to give the character AI reply rights.
 
Would be nice if the reply has a prefix or suffix that gets auto added to the Gemini reply.... something like

"Provided via Gemini lookup" or whatever... have a prefix and suffix text input in the add-on setup where the site owner can define it (or leave blank).
 
Can it be possible to have few accounts so they random accounts auto reply by Gemini so it doesn't look like that only one account is answering all the time

Can anyone reply, I need to know the proof of feature before I purchase
 
Honestly, I'm already using several of AndyB's modifications, for a total package of $35, it's a pretty good deal. I'm waiting to see the features that I need are implemented before trying it out. Unfortunately, I cannot currently answer your question, because I'm not willing to install this add-on just yet.
