If your members talk about games, you know the problem: the discussion is everywhere and nowhere. The same game gets mentioned across a dozen threads, and there's no single place that ties them together. Someone wants opinions on a title, ends up searching, scrolling, and giving up.

GameHub fixes that. It gives your forum a proper, member-built game database — and, more importantly, it plugs straight into the discussions you already have.

This update is mostly about one thing a few of you had asked for: making GameHub match your forum without having to touch any CSS.

You can now restyle everything from the Admin CP

There's a new Games group under Appearance → Style properties with 14 settings. From there you can change:

  • the accent colour, the rating stars and the "completed" green
  • the gold, silver and bronze used for the podium ranks

Very nice update! The fact that I can customize it myself in my design is really perfect and a lot of fun! Thank you so much for the great update! I’d really appreciate it if all your future updates were like this! Have you ever thought about whether there could be a hub in the ACP where you could update all your updates at once? That way, you wouldn’t have to do it one by one, but could do it directly in the ACP.

The Hub add-on has been running on my local machine for several weeks now; I'm waiting to fine-tune it before I release it!
 
It would also be great if you could add a caption to the screenshots you upload. That way, you could better describe what the screenshot is.

This release adds captions to the screenshot galleries. Members can now describe what each screenshot shows (a boss fight, a hidden area, a favorite build, a modded setup), which makes galleries a lot more useful to browse.

The biggest update since launch. GameHub now fills its own database, behaves like native XenForo content everywhere, and ships a permission system built for real communities.

In GameHub options: [yoursite]/admin.php?add-ons/XenSupport-GameHub/options

You need to add Steam API. steamcommunity.com/dev/apikey

This update brings GameHub from 1.2.0 to 1.2.2. What each release added:

1.2.2. Banners that follow your style, an index header with search and filters, a readable dark variation, and bulk imports that keep platforms and genres.

1.2.1. The Admin CP rebuilt around seven new screens, configurable rating scales, and three fixes reported by users.
