Galaxy S3 Owners -- Battery Life after Jelly Bean upgrade?

Hey,

I've noticed a big battery drain after the update to Jelly Bean..

To all S3 owners out here, what are your thoughts and facts on this?

I have an S3 but am in the states on Verizon and they haven't pushed out the JB update yet.

I noticed the one big thing that helps save my battery is turning of the google location services. The JB update also has google now and that could be part of it also.

Google Location services is already off and so is Google Now (I can't use it, I live in Belgium, not so much interesting here )

Verizon pushed out JB a few weeks ago for my Nexus... havent noticed a battery drain.

Is JB 4.2? I got that push on my N7 too, but it was only 4.1.2.

JB is 4.1.x

Have you checked the battery stats in settings to see what application/part of the os is causing it?
