XF 1.1 Fresh install of xenforo

Hi guys,

I bought a license about two weeks ago and am having some issues trying to get to the install page.

I am getting 404 error message telling me it can't find the page.
Permissions have been lifted on the site as well so that I can install the forum.

Can you guys help?

Do you have anything whacky in your document root .htaccess file, as it looks like you are running Joomla from there, which could be causing it not to work.

No I don't. I had a look at it and left it because I didn't know what to put in there. I'm only new to this.

In the joomla .htaccess file, check if you have enabled:
RewriteBase /

According to the error the /forum directory doesn't exist.

Can you post a screenshot of your server/directory structure from your FTP program?

You've put the contents inside the Upload folder in the /forum directory

http://www.northinsider.com/forum/Upload/install/index.php?install/

You need to go into the Upload folder in your FTP client, and upload the contents of that to the /forum directory

You have uploaded the /upload directory to /forum, not the contents of it.
