I have tried multiple email addresses. His site gives an error instead of sending out a confirmation email and support is lacking. I wish there was an alternative to this add on that worked as well.

I do not provide support here.
You have to provide a valid XF license on registration. I'll send you a message through my forum to solve this.

I understand that but I’ve been waiting for a reply for days. All my licenses are purchased here and valid. The issue is that your system will not send a confirmation email so I can’t go further in the process.
 
The other issue is that is translating usernames. I have fixed this myself by editing templates but it should be fixed with an update. It is a pita to edit so many templates.

Have you solved with the error "A server error occurred. Please try again later." ?
I'm still not able to register and to buy
