Forum title limit

I am using XenForo 1.5.6 and it has 50 character limit in forum titles. Has this limit changed in newer versions, or more specifically v2? I wish if it was an option for admins to customize.

There is still a 50 character limit for node titles.

What do you suggest to overcome this limit?

It would require custom development.
