Forum Database SQL Filesize Doubled in a Month ?

I take backup of my forum sql file fortnightly. Just noticed that filesize increased 250% in just one month...?
My forum is more or less dormant with less than ten responses per day.
How can I check what made the size increase so dramatically.

Have you got a full backup saved in public_html maybe? That might double the size.

spam users? that's a LOT of users....
do you store attachments in the db? tons of space there but unlikely...

even june 1 to june 15th is a big jump


did you install an addon that takes a lot of space? eg, there's an seo addon that writes about 2gb of data every time it runs on my board for logs.
